The beloved Barcelona wine bar comes back to Georgia on October 30 and 31, with a unique hospitality experience around the launch of Bar Brutal: A Cookbook of Revelations.
This time, we are taking things up to where mountains whisper ancient legends and adrenaline surges. Expect food curated by artisans of mountain life, live music, a dancing feast, and lots and lots of natural wine.
FRIDAY OCTOBER 30: We kick things off with a healing ceremony and wine tasting at The Ridge. Guided by Veronica of Den Vandrette and Sune of Rosforth & Rosforth, it is a ritual of taste, deep natural wine knowledge, and an invitation to reconnect.
SATURDAY OCTOBER 31: we pick up the pace, starting with a Lunch Feast at the Rooms Kazbegi Garden. David Peterson of Copenhagen’s Den Vandrette brings his minimal intervention cooking to the mountains. Every dish is built around seasonal produce sourced from our own Udabno Farm, the largest regenerative farm in Europe.
NEXT, we take it to the Forest for a live instrumental dialogue with Holden & Zimpel. The duo mixes hypnotic electronic trance with adventurous free jazz clarinet.
AFTER, we flow right into the Cookbook Reading Aperitivo back at The Ridge. Afternoon drinks and shared excerpts from the new Apartamento release: 320 pages of chaos, brutal recipes, and archival memories brought to life.
CLOSING out with an afterparty at the Ballroom. Vancouver sound artist Yu-Su takes over the dancefloor, laying down a set that moves freely across house, dub, disco, and heavy polyrhythms.
Be there for another HIGHER round of long table dinners, heavy sounds, and the best natural wine pours.
